How long does post partum depression last?

Could it last a year? I have been told it sounds like I am suffering from post partum…..but i just do not believe it is so. I have three other children that i take care of and they are seem to be healthy and growing.
It has been like a year and a half almost plus i have grief from a loss.
Once agin…my other children are happy with me and they get all of their needs met. I love them. But when they are not with me (going to school) i have more time to think. My daughter died.
